Peer Review Process
DIS Journals follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, validity, and relevance of published manuscripts.
Submission requirements:
- Must use the IJDIS Author’s template
- Must be original, unpublished work not under review elsewhere
- Must be fully anonymized (no author names/affiliations) for review; identifying info added only in the camera/copyediting-ready version stage
Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial office to assess:
- Relevance to the journal scope
- Compliance with submission guidelines
- Academic quality
- Originality
- Ethical compliance
Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements may be rejected before peer review.
Double-Blind Review
Suitable manuscripts are forwarded to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:
- Originality and contribution to knowledge
- Research methodology
- Clarity and organization
- Quality of analysis
- Validity of findings
- Ethical standards
- Referencing and scholarly presentation
Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer recommendations, the editorial team may decide:
- Accept Submission
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Request Major Revisions
- Reject Submission
Authors may be required to revise and resubmit their manuscripts before final acceptance.
Review Timeline
DIS Journals strives to complete the review process within 2–6 weeks depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
