IJDIS recognises and respects the intellectual property rights of authors. Authors retain copyright ownership of their original research articles published in the journal.
By submitting a manuscript to IJDIS, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, archive, and disseminate the article through the journal website, indexing services, repositories, and scholarly communication platforms.
The copyright remains with the authors, who maintain the right to:
- share their published work for academic and research purposes;
- deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories;
- use the article for teaching, conference presentations, and scholarly activities;
- reproduce portions of the work with appropriate acknowledgement.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original, properly referenced, and do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.
Where research involves third-party materials, authors must obtain appropriate permissions and provide acknowledgement of the original sources.
IJDIS does not transfer copyright ownership from authors to the publisher.
